Our dock stairs built of either aluminum or wood are frequently used between the top of a bank and the shore, or the shore end of the dock. They are also frequently attached to the side of a dock to provide a safe and easy climb in and out of the water. |

We prefer to use ThruFlow™ on our stairs that lead into the water, mainly for the best traction under water and the allowance of waves to pass through with practically no lifting force. Our aluminum dock stairs are built in standard widths of 3 ft and 4 ft. The standard slope for our aluminum stair is 30º with a rise of 7" and a run of 12 1/8". Stairs are built to order with the option of railings.The top end will attach to a sea wall or dock. Sockets for adjustable leveling legs are at the bottom end. To determine the number of treads on the aluminum stair that you require, simply measure the vertical height in inches where you need stairs and divide by seven (7). |

| For hill sides with varying slopes, a site survey provides measurements for custom wood stairs that may include landings and railing. They can be pre-built in our shop and installed by a field service provider. Whether installed on a bank or the side of a dock, they can be used as a permanant installation or temporary. |  |
